Ohana Surf Morocco group sandboarding

Ohana means family. And family means no one gets left behind or forgotten.

About Me.

Starting Ohana Surf Morocco is like a dream coming true for me. When I was working as a surf teacher, I always made new friends in the water, had a lot of fun working with people and it was always hard to say goodbye when people left the surf camp. That’s when I got the idea to start Ohana Surf Morocco. Ohana means family and I always like to work in a group, family makes it more easy and fun.

Life is always about trying, you know. So about 6 years ago I decided to give it a try. If it works, it works! If it doesn’t, I have other things to do. I tried it and it worked out well! Ohana Surf Morocco is more than a business, it’s a family.

What makes me happy is seeing people learning. It was so difficult for me to learn to surf, more than 12 years ago surfing wasn’t that easy in Morocco. There was no material, no one to help. Surfing taught me how to be patient and to feel so free, so calm. I wish everyone can try surfing because it really helps mentally and physically for everyone. My happiest moment of the day is to see someone stand up on the board, ride and look at the smile on their face. Their joy also makes me happy.
